I’m experienced in indexing both scholarly and trade books. I’ve worked with texts ranging widely across the humanities and social sciences, from philosophy to East Asian studies to American history and sociology.
Rates are calculated per 1000 words for most texts, and may vary based on your book’s density and intended audience. Space limitations and other factors can also play a role—click through for general guidelines and to request a quote!
I began indexing in 2017, and have apprenticed with some of the most experienced indexers in the field. I came to the profession with a background in dance, performance, literature study, and editing. As a member of the American Society for Indexing, I stay current in the profession through conferences and continued development opportunities.
